Must See: A Story of Adventure and Romance in this Maui Elopement

Val + Trev’s Maui elopement was the definition of adventure and romance! These two lovebirds decided to exchange vows in a breathtaking location on the island of Maui, and let me tell you, it was truly unforgettable. From the hike to a hidden waterfall to the portraits on a stunning red sand beach, their special day was filled with so much love and excitement.

Maui’s hidden gems: waterfalls galore

First things first, we began the day slowly, at Val + Trev’s quant Air Bnb. The location was quiet and faced a gorgeous black sand beach (well black rock technically hehe). It was the perfect place for a first look. Trev cried at the sight of his bride. Mission accomplished šŸ™‚

Next, the hike to the waterfall. This was no ordinary walk in the park, but Val and Trev were up for the challenge. The journey took them through lush tropical forests, past cascading streams, and finally to an waterfall where they exchanged their vows and committed their lives to one another. The waterfall was a stunning backdrop and made for some breathtaking photos.

Next Up: Red Sand Beach in Hana

After the ceremony, we made our way to a red sand beach for their portraits. This beach was a photographer’s dream with its unique red sand and turquoise waters. Val and Trev’s love for each other was on full display as they cuddled up and took in the beauty of their surroundings. The duo popped champagne and read letters from their friends and family back home which made the day even more special. It was a moment they’ll never forget, and I was honored to capture it all.

This Maui elopement was one for the books!

This Maui elopement was a perfect representation of what eloping is all about – it’s about making your wedding day all about you and your partner. Val and Trev didn’t want the traditional wedding experience, they wanted to make the most of their special day in a location that was special to them. And that’s exactly what they did.

If you’re considering an elopement, I highly recommend choosing a location that means something to you and your partner. Whether it’s a place you both love or a destination you’ve always wanted to visit, make sure it’s a place that holds a special place in your hearts. And most importantly, make it all about the two of you. That’s what Val and Trev did, and their Maui elopement was a testament to that.

Finally, to Val and Trev, thank you for letting me be a part of your special day. I wish you a lifetime of love and adventure!
