I was honored to be a part of Nicole and Corey’s Kekaha Harbor House wedding on Kauai’s west side. Kekaha is a breathtaking, rural area in Kauai, close to Waimea town and Waimea Canyon. The venue was both charming and expansive right by the beach and surrounded by palm trees.
One of my favorite things about the Kekaha Harbor House wedding venue was there was a place for both the bride and groom to get ready, a nice lawn for the ceremony, a gorgeous beach for portraits, and a space for the reception! It’s a nice one-stop shop for wedding venues in Kauai.
It also allows for a lot of creative freedom; the Kekaha harbor house isn’t as restrictive as traditional wedding venues.
The girls and guys got ready separately and chose to do a “no look prayer” instead of a first look. Nicole and Corey were both super nervous and it was really sweet to see. I love how Nicole and Corey put their own twist on the first-look tradition.
The ceremony at the Kekaha harbor house in Kauai was so sweet and moving! & I just CANNOT get over how adorable the ring-bearers and flower girls were. I think if they don’t have an entrance like this at my wedding I’ll be upset.
The ceremony was set up and executed to perfection with a gorgeous diamond-shaped arch and wooden chairs by Lee’s Rentals.
Nicole and Corey are finally newlyweds and couldn’t be more excited! They originally didn’t think they wanted beach sunset photos, I got them to quickly change their mind when that gorgeous warm glow appeared. And don’t get me started on the food! Contemporary Flavors Catering was making me drool. I mean just look at that spread of fresh poke, ahi, kimchee cucumbers, and prime-rib. Not to mention the bartender mixing up some refreshing cocktails. Low-key was wishing I was a guest ha!
Nicole and Corey chose very elegant decor for their reception. Lots of understated warm hues with lots of whites, touches of greens, and pops of orange-reds. Check out my portfolio highlighting this gorgeous secret island wedding for more tropical decoration inspiration.
The night ended beautifully with lots of laughs, happy tears, and dancing. And lots of time spent at the coolest photo booth I’ve seen! Seriously, the old school cars in the background are a very unique touch.
Congrats to the lovely couple and a special thank you to all the vendors who made this night a success:
