A sunrise/sunset is a great option to capitalize on the best light, and have a leisurely lunch break in between. Or we can start midday with getting ready, first look, a short adventure, & then a sunset beach ceremony with your nearest & dearest (if you are inviting guests!)

Since you're not booking a venue when THEY'RE available, you can choose any date you'd like! Some couples choose a date that is meaningful to their relationship or just a date that aligns with their travel plans.

About a month out from your elopement, we'll hop on a final planning call to go over all the logistical details. This will also be the time to submit your family portrait list if you are wanting to include guests on your elopement.

Listen, I get it, having a camera in your face for 8+ hours on your elopement day sounds like a terrible idea. As an extroverted introvert myself, that’s not what I want for you either. So that’s not at all what working with me is like.
You’re not signing up for being prop in an all-day photoshoot. You’re signing up for an adventure of a lifetime that I happen to be photographing.
Honestly? You will probably forget I’m there for most of it.

After you submit the Discovery Questionnaire, I'll prepare a location & activities proposal. Once we select a location, I'll be in touch with any details we need to iron out to set up the elopement and you'll hire any additional vendors you'll need to hire to sweeten up your experience.

I'll help you figure out where you want to get married, what you want to do when you get there, and will document every precious minute of it.

Okay, time to talk turkey. Don't be afraid to open that door - I get it, it sucks when all you want are stunning photos but looking at prices have you super discouraged. My prices reflect the value of my services and my work as an artist, so I don't typically offer discounts. Buttt if it's a last minute booking & I happen to be available, we could open the discussion of working within your budget. I also sometimes work within budgets if you have a unique or inspiring idea, (or are willing to give me freedom to use my own creative direction to style or personalize your day). Having a conversation is the FIRST STEP - let's chat about your budget and see if we can work together in this season.
WE REALLY WANT TO HAVE YOU, BUT YOUR STARTING PRICES ARE OVER OUR BUDGET...DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?
Only if you want to! After our extensive discovery process, we'll figure out how much activity you'd *actually* like for your session. There are lots of activities and locations that require minimal, if any, hiking. & some of my best photos are taken in your hotel, over a picnic, or over a margarita or two :)
DO WE HAVE TO HIKE FOR OUR eLOPEMENT?
HOW DO WE CHOOSE A LOCATION?
My elopement planning process is quite EXTENSIVE. I send out a detailed proposal, a customized questionnaire and a TON of resources. We work together to decide on the perfect location for your intimate wedding. But honestly, what's more important than location is experiencing all the feels on your best day ever!
cAN WE INVITE GUESTS?
Absolutely! I'd limit it to 12 unless you'd like to get a venue. The more people you invite, the more it becomes about them than about you...and when there's no venue, no chairs for people to sit in, no bathrooms to use...
...you basically just start having to cater to everyone except yourselves. Just food for thought!
wHAT IF MOTHER NATURE ISN'T COOPERATING?
Hawaii is notorious for short rain showers, so I haven't had to cancel a session yet due to weather (knock on wood). I always carry a clear umbrella and protection for my gear and some of the most EPIC photos are taken in the rain or after a storm (think UNREAL sunsets).
...buttt if the weather is especially bad or unsafe, I do offer 1 complimentary reschedule if our schedules allow. If a reschedule is not possible, I'll refund the total fee, minus the nonrefundable retainer.
wHAT HAPPENS IF YOU GET SICK OR OTHERWISE CAN'T MAKE OUR eLOPEMENT?
If, Heaven forbid, I am too ill or injured or otherwise can't make the wedding, I will find another incredible photographer for you with a similar style and experience level and will edit all the photos to ensure they align with my brand; if for some reason I can't find someone (highly unlikely, I have very talented photographer associates) I will refund all payments, including the retainer. I've never had to do this yet *knock on wood*.
